Nutrition Therapy Services You Can Count on
If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Services & Descriptions
Ana Isabel Wellness, L.L.C., provides you with expert nutrition coaching services. Nutrition is the core element of our health; therefore, I always strive to guide and encourage my clients to shift to eating more nutrient-dense meals or foods that are nourishing our bodies with a more holistic approach.
So What Does That Mean?!
When many think of a nutritionist, the common thought is that they will tell me what to eat or what foods to avoid and maybe discuss vitamins.
That's not quite my focus. Food is most definitely a part of my practice but in the form of nourishment. As an Integrative Health Clinician, I look at external factors such as family and work stressors (work/life balance), type of work, or even your job location. I look at the whole body and, in some cases, our chat may not even include food intake but instead, we may cover your daily schedule, and I want to know how you are feeling. How well do you sleep at night and do you feel tired in the morning after sleeping 7-9 hours, or do you have aches and pains, and may have brittle nails?
I don't have a one size fits all protocol. All my 1:1 sessions are individualized. What works for one may not work for another even if there are similar symptoms.
For those who want general support and education, there will be some group sessions available throughout the year.
I aim to provide you with the tools you need to succeed.
CNS Vs RDN
When it comes to the standard career paths, RDNs are trained for acute care, such as hospital care, including parenteral (tube) nutrition. On the other hand, CNSs are trained in chronic care and private clinical practice, working in doctors’ offices or private wellness centers. Health coaches are experts on human behavior, motivation, and health. They are the “change agents” who help clients set and achieve health goals and build new habits.
What is Nutriton Therapy or Medical Nutrition Therapy, Precisely?
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is defined as nutrition-based treatment provided by a registered dietician nutritionist. This includes a nutrition diagnosis, therapy, and counseling services to help manage diabetes. The American Nutrition Association (ANA) is the core element of our health. The ANA champions the science and practice of personalized nutrition to move nutrition to the core of health care.
